Who was running the Purple Code site? It's been twice in basically 12 months that the site has shut down for an extended period. If I can get a new board started that looked a but more school specific that this would people want me to? Or are we happy here?

I haven't seen any updates on the prospects of Purple Code site being corrected. I'm all for a more professional, Aces specific looking site. Any efforts you place toward the effort would be greatly appreciated.

We haven"t had any response out of the TPC on when the site may return. Any where Aces BB being discussed..........

I'd be willing to join any board where the Aces are being discussed. I think it would be great to have something school specific.
However, I will say I like the way this board is set up as far as registration, very simple. It was very difficult for new members to join the old board, and I think the register feature was even disabled towards the end of its run.
The team definitely needs a board. There is no question about that.

Since i couldn't get on the old board, after trying more than 20 times, I think this board is easy to get on, and serves the purpose very well.

Friends,
With time running short on the season and no further word on ThePurpleCode site, I have taken the initiative to purchase PurpleAcesFans.com.
I intend to launch on Sunday at that site a board quite similar to what worked for ThePurpleCode for several years, hopefully with a couple new features, and none of the registration challenges.
I hope to see everyone there next week, and hopefully even more folks who did not learn of our former purple-draped enclave.

One suggestion concerning the recruiting section. It would be helpful to have separate folders for each recruiting year - 2014, 2015, etc. instead have having just one folder for all recruits.
It was beginning to get cumbersome keeping up with all the players on the other board. I've noticed most other college basketball fan forums segregate the recruiting section in a similar fashion (by year).

Thanks for all the news from last night. We have some talent on this team. When MVC play begins, we should be a smooth shooting and rebounding team. I was hoping someone would say the team looked good in their new uniforms with the sleeves but I guess this is not going to happen. On another subject, I feel positive about now having two bigs in the lineup. Sawvell is going to be a huge plus for this team. I can't wait.
