The MVC this year is Wichita States to lose. They have the player of the year, and Baker, Van Vleet, and others who have final four experience. Keep in mind that Butler went to the final four a few years ago, and then followed that up with another final four the next year. I'm not saying that the Shockers are going to the final four again, but they are surely the class of the MVC.
With that being said, I like Indiana State to give them a run for their money. Odum is probably the best point guard in the conference, and along with Arop will be very tough.
As I have said before the Aces have some talent, and by the end of the year may just be a team that you don't want to play. Marty's offense is not an easy one to learn, and the freshmen are going to have to pick it up quickly if they are going to have the year that we all want. Games against Indiana, Xavier, and Butler will tell us a lot of what this team will be like against the best of the Valley.
